There are 434 acres that include hills, tree stands, farm land, thousands of feet of waterfront and an Island that overlooks a breathtaking set of rapids.
The property can be divided into three separate sections we describe as the Fosters Lake parcel (124 acres), The Trails End Cottages (222 acres) and the York River White-Water; (88 acres) parcel.
All of the parcels have three season road access with the Trails End section being serviced by a public road that can made drivable over the full year.
The Fosters Lake parcel is currently for sale for $ 1.
Looking from north to south, you can clearly see the gravel road west of the lake. A letter acknowledging access for the road is available on request.
The road continues to the York River.

When purchased in 2001, the Trails End Cottages had been operating for over 60 years.
The cottages have fallen into various stages of disrepair but we have confirmed at a recent planning meeting that the buiings are legal (while non-conforming) and can be rebuilt or replaced.
This two bedroom cabin at the front of the river has a nice eating/sitting area and front poarch.
Regretabley, this 70 year old log cabin has collapsed. Our conversation with the Chief Building Officer confirms that a new structure of similar footprint and additional height can be built with a building permit.
The newest of the cottages, this one bedroom, gallery kitchen and living room has the best potential for winterization.
This shower house has three sections. A male and female bathroom/shower facility and a utltility room that housed the resorts laundry equipment. There is a septic system that services this building.
The main cabin holds 3 bedrooms, a living space and dining room, 4 piece bathroom, kitchen and breakfast nook. This cottage is attached to a nearby well and a holding tank for grey and blackwater.
The magical Island Cabin. The Indiana Jones inspired bridge connects you to a 600 sq ft footprint that overlooks the rapids and is adjacent to a rocky platform where great fishing and a
A west facing view from the Island cabin to enjoy the sunset or morning fly-fishing.
Down river on our Island you will find a sandy beach where we have enjoyed many a campfires, swim and home-designed sauna.
The river volume and exposure of the rocks varies during the year. We have navigated up-stream, enjoying the current with some luck fly-fishing during three seasons.
The lookout is a nice place for a picnic or to bang out a few bio-degradable golf balls.
